Challenge
Designing the logo for Virtue Medical Group presented several challenges. The client wanted a logo that communicated compassion and care, while also making it clear they are a medical group. Balancing these qualities with the need to convey connectivity, strength, and stability required careful design choices. We had to create a logo that was both welcoming and professional, representing their values of trust, support, and reliability.
Solution
Apercher designed Virtue Medical Group’s logo by incorporating the familiar medical cross, transforming its outline into a stethoscope. The light blue earpiece, shaped like a heart, symbolizes care and compassion, while the chest piece represents medical expertise. The rounded design reflects nurturing, and we paired it with a clean, wide font to communicate stability and professionalism. This solution captures the essence of compassion, connectivity, and strength.

Virtue Medical Group is an expanding medical group that has been making waves in the Vietnamese community. Virtue reached out to Apercher to develop a branding that communicates compassion, is easily recognizable, and is professional. Apercher used the prevalent symbol of the medical cross as the foundation of the design, ensuring it clearly conveyed the healthcare aspect.
To add a unique, personal touch, the outline of the cross was creatively transformed into a stethoscope. The light blue earpiece on the upper left formed the shape of a heart, symbolizing care and compassion, while the chest piece anchored the lower right, representing medical expertise. The rounded shape of the overall logo spoke to nurturing and connectivity.
For the typography, we paired the logo with a clean, wide font that conveyed stability, generosity, and professionalism, giving the design a balanced and trustworthy feel. This thoughtful combination of elements helped encapsulate the values of Virtue Medical Group—compassion, care, and strength.
